Never in my life did I get up at 3 in the morning to photograph a wedding anniversary. It was a very hot summer and it was impossible to be outside during the day. I met the couple at about 4:30 in the morning near their house, so that after that we could go together for a photo shoot. The temperature was 95 Fahrenheit already. Natalia wanted to put on her wedding dress but fainted in the process of dressing. I had to quickly replay the situation and found clothes that were lighter and more comfortable for their wedding anniversary.
The morning was quiet, there were no cars or people on the street, which was a huge plus for us and we were able to photograph all our ideas that day. As the sun started to rise and the couple began to relax, we captured some stunning shots of them embracing in the warm orange light. We also took some fun photos of them playfully splashing around in the water to cool off from the heat.
After the shoot, we all went out for breakfast at a nearby cafe and laughed about the unexpected challenges of the morning. Natalia and Dmitry reminisced about their wedding day and talked about their hopes and dreams for the future. It was a special day filled with love and memories that I was honored to capture.
